Every installation carried out by Thermal Plastering carries a 15-year warranty covering both materials and workmanship. This is a manufacturer warranty backed by Proofshield, the Kent-based UK manufacturer of ThermoSilicone and ProofTherm — not a standard builder’s guarantee.

What Is Covered

  • Materials — Proofshield warrants that ThermoSilicone and ProofTherm will perform to published specification for 15 years from the installation date
  • Workmanship — Thermal Plastering warrants that installation has been carried out to Proofshield's required standard
  • Applies to all Proofshield products installed by Thermal Plastering — ProofTherm internal plaster, ThermoSilicone external render and associated system components

What Is Not Covered

  • Damage caused by subsequent works by other contractors affecting the installation
  • Movement or failure of the substrate not identified at the time of installation
  • Physical damage caused by impact or external interference
  • Damage caused by other factors such as leaky gutters or faulty roofing elements

  • Your installation is registered with Proofshield at completion — written confirmation provided
  • The warranty is transferable to a new owner if the property is sold within 15 years
